Vintage Wisconsin Gardens with Lee Somerville
As Wisconsin's population moved from farmsteads into villages, towns, and cities, the state saw a growing interest in gardening as a leisure activity and source of civic pride. In Vintage Wisconsin Gardens, Lee Somerville introduces readers to the region's ornamental gardens of the 19th and early 20th centuries, showcasing the "vernacular" gardens created by landscaping enthusiasts for their own use and pleasure.  A book signing will follow the presentation.

Linda S. Godfrey lives in Wisconsin and is an author, artist, and researcher of strange subjects, eccentric people, and unknown creatures.  A book signing will follow the presentation.

Organizing Your Home, Mind, and Spirit Through De-cluttering with Sandra Peterson
Sandra Peterson is a professional clutter consultant and organizer from Sherwood who teaches classes on organizing.  Peterson also writes a column in Women: For and About Women in Northeast Wisconsin.  She has some great tips on how to organize your home, mind and spirit.

One World, Many Stories with Colleen Sutherland
Author and storyteller, Colleen Sutherland, will be at the library to share her adventures of travelling across the United States.  A book signing will follow the presentation.

Thailand with Jennifer Jensen
Jennifer Jensen has her M.S.E. Counselor Education from UW-Oshkosh and teaches varying courses at UW-Fox Valley on multi-cultural issues and refugee settlement.  Jennifer in the past has lived in Thailand and has made several return trips to the country. Come and enjoy this very informative PowerPoint presentation.

Creative Container Gardening with Gail Clearwater
Enjoy gardening on a smaller scale - mix and match annuals, perennials, herbs, and vegetables to create unique and edible containers with Gail Clearwater,  Vice President of the Outagamie County Master Gardener Executive Board.


All Adult Afternoon Programs will be held in the 1st floor Shattuck Community Room
