A New York Times bestseller that has changed the way readers view the ecology of eating, this revolutionary book by award winner Michael Pollan asks the seemingly simple question: What should we have for dinner? Tracing from source to table each of the food chains that sustain us – whether industrial or organic, alternative or processed – he develops a portrait of the American way of eating.

Pretty Monsters – a pretty good book
By Kelly Link
I was alerted to this short story collection by a public radio review, or I may never have picked it off the shelf. Fantasy/science fiction/scary stories are generally not to my taste, but the NPR reviewer made Kelly Link’s writing sound intriguing – and it is.

That is – Just To Let You Know – we exist! imo (in my opinion) is a blog that we created as a forum for Teens to communicate with one another about the books you are reading. We will be posting books, reviews, recommendations and of course your opinions. We will be filtering comments to ensure that everything is appropriate for our site, but please don’t let that stop you from making the comments. I want to hear them.
