Pooches & Pages

Pooches & Pages is a reading program for kids who will attend first through sixth grades in the fall. Dogs are carefully selected to ensure a safe and fun experience, and the owner/handlers are library volunteers who love helping children become enthusiastic readers. Reading to dogs builds reading confidence and self-esteem, helps a child maintain focus for a longer period of time, and increases the motivation to read.

For more information or to register a child for a Pooches & Pages appointment, contact youthdesk@neenahlibrary.org, visit the Neenah Library website at www.neenahlibrary.org, or call the Neenah Public Library Youth Services Department at 886-6335.
