Family Program-PJ Liesh-Entomologist-(Bugs)

Things get buggy at the Neenah Public Library!  P.J. Liesch, entomologist and Director of the UW Madison Insect Diagnostics Lab, will present a World of Insects program for ages 4 & up. The “Bug Guy” will share fascinating facts about insects in our back yards and around the world, and show some interesting specimens. Liesch, Assistant Faculty Associate in the Department of Entomology, is the solo “bug guy” in the Insect Diagnostics Lab. He handles questions from the public, teaches UW-Extension programs and also conducts statewide outreach.

“World of Insects” is one of Neenah Library’s Tuesday Summer Family Programs; it will run about 45 minutes.  Space is limited – to reserve a spot, pick up a free ticket at the youth desk starting at noon on the day of the program.

This program is best suited for ages 4 and up (ages 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult).

The program will run about 45 minutes. Space is limited – pick up your free tickets at the Youth Desk beginning one hour before the program starts.
