Would your child like a little boost in reading confidence? Sign up for Neenah Public Library’s Pooches & Pages: Kids Reading to Therapy Dogs on Saturday, October 8. Children in first through sixth grade may sign up for a fifteen-minute reading appointment between 10:00 and 11:30 a.m.

Halloween Costume Swap

Looking for a fun, free and less stressful way to outfit your family with Halloween costumes? The Neenah Public Library will join National Costume Swap Day by holding a budget and environmentally friendly Costume Swap. Early Bird hours (for those donating a costume to the event) will be 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.; General Admission will be 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The event is for all ages; kids 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Boofest Craft & Trick-or-Treating

Come to Boofest on Saturday, October 15, at Neenah’s Shattuck Park. It’s Neenah’s last farmer’s market of the season and a fun, fall family event with games and Halloween activities. While you’re there, bring the kids to the Library to trick-or-treat and make a seasonal craft. This drop-in program for school-age children will run between 10:00 a.m. and noon.

Footloose Friday

Kids boogie at the Neenah Public Library, on Footloose Fridays. Kids of all ages (with a caregiver) are invited on the second Friday of every month at 9:30 a.m., for a half-hour of rhythm, rhyme and movement. There will be listen-and-follow songs, bells and shaker eggs, and good fun music. No talent necessary! The first Footloose Friday of the fall will be on Friday, September 9, at 9:30 a.m. The program is drop-in – no registration required.
