The club will provide a chance for kids in grades 3+4 (ages 8-10) to discuss books, characters, writing, and stories - and have a good time. Pack a lunch (we'll provide a beverage) and drop your child off for one hour at the library. The discussions will include a related activity, like a scavenger hunt, a trivia game or a craft.
Registration is required.
Stuffed animal sleepover. Come in at 1:00pm and hang out with your stuffed animal for a while, and then say goodnight. Your friend will have the time of their life here at the library overnight. You can pick them up on Sunday when we open at 1:00.
What do you get when you bring children, dogs and books together? You get happy, confident children who love to read. The object of the program is to provide a monthly opportunity for kids in first through fifth grades to read aloud to dogs who listen patiently and without judgement for 15 minutes. Children and dogs will bond together over a shared story.
