Family Program-Mr. J-Scientist

Mr. J (Mark Janssen, a science teacher) will offer an entertaining science program involving liquid nitrogen, a bed of nails, and (possibly) a small explosion! Ordinary household objects will be used to explain scientific concepts in a fun way – with hands-on activities and demonstrations. This program is best suited for ages 4 and up (ages 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult).

The program will run about 45 minutes. Space is limited – pick up your free tickets at the Youth Desk beginning one hour before the program starts.

Family Program-Water Games

Cool off and have fun with Water Games at the Neenah Public Library! We will play rain or shine, so plan to get wet! There will be activities for all ages (children eight and under must be accompanied by an adult). This program is free – no registration required.

Family Program-Heckrodt-Naturalist

Curious about turtles and frogs? Want to discover the differences between reptiles and amphibians?  A Heckrodt Wetland Reserve naturalist will be on hand to help us find out more about turtles and frogs and see some live ones up close.

“Wetland Wonders” is one of Neenah Library’s Tuesday Summer Family Programs; it will run about 45 minutes and is for ages 4 & up. Space is limited – to reserve a spot, pick up a free ticket at the youth desk starting at noon on the day of the program.

Family Program-Soda Pups-Dog Tricks

The Soda Pups will return to the Neenah Public Library for a trick dog performance. The clever little Pomeranians are each named after a soft drink, and their owner, Jack Zolkowski, has the dogs demonstrate agility, dog tricks, obedience skills and more.

Ages 4 & Up. Space is limited. Pick up free tickets at the youth desk starting one hour before the performance.
