Monday, August 20

We have an exciting afternoon planned with staff from Bergstrom-Mahler Museum. They will lead us in making fused glass sun catchers. Special thanks to Jean Chew for providing the funding for this café in memory of her husband Jim.

Memory Cafés are for those experiencing early stage dementia, mild memory loss or cognitive impairment, and for family and friends of those affected. It’s a great opportunity for lively discussions, information gathering, refreshments, camaraderie, and lots of creative fun thrown in! We have a gerontology professional on hand to answer questions and an enormous wealth of experience among participants to be shared. We’d be delighted if you would join us

We will have an open discussion about all the titles on the Great American Read list. Haven't read them all? Don't worry, neither have we! Join us as we learn more about the titles, discuss the titles we believe should be on the list, the books we don't and the titles that should have been on the list.
