Shattuck Community Room

Form submission does not guarantee room reservation. Staff will confirm reservation within 72 hours of form submission. You will be contacted by phone or email. Please read the Meeting Room Policy, before submitting your request. Individuals and groups using the Shattuck Community Room are responsible for set-up of the room and for tidying the room prior to leaving.


The Shattuck Community Room is available during library open hours and must be vacated and cleaned up 15 minutes prior to closing.

Library hours
Monday through Thursday 9:00 am – 9:00 pm
Friday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Saturday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Sunday Noon – 4:00 pm.

Reservations may only be placed 3 months in advance. Using the calendar above, verify the day and time is available.

Items needed
I have read and understand the Meeting Room Policy and agree to abide by it.  If I am also requesting use of the piano, I have read and understand the Piano Policy and agree to abide by it. Groups or individuals using a meeting room shall be responsible, jointly and severally, for reasonable care of the room and its furnishings and equipment and shall pay for any damage caused or inflicted by an organization, its members, affiliated persons, guests, invitees, etc. Nothing may be taped, hung, tacked, etc., to any walls, windows, doors, furniture, tables, or any other library surface or object. (Easels are available.) I affirm that this is not a commercial, for-profit event where products, services, or memberships are advertised, solicited, or sold. I understand that the library has the right to cancel the event if the event is found to be in conflict with library policy. I understand that no one may publicize this event in any way that implies that the library is a sponsor or endorser of the event without prior authorization from the library. I understand that the library will make an effort to set the room up as indicated on the Setup Form.  If library staff do not have time to do so, however, the group using the room shall be responsible for any take down or set up that it requires. I, and the group I represent, agree to pay for any damage caused to the library, its furnishings, or the piano, and/or for clean-up fee charges as listed in the meeting room policy.
