Healthy Living for your Brain & Body is the first in the Understanding the Dementia Journey presented by Fox Valley Memory Project and the Alzheimer's Association.

If you are caring for someone with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, are concerned about a loved one who has been diagnosed or are concerned about memory loss, you are not alone. The Understanding the Dementia Journey workshops focus on a variety of topics designed to help family and professional caregivers navigate the challenges of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Each class includes a focus topic about a local resource in the community. All classes are free of charge.

Thursday, January 25

Back by very popular demand, the Neenah Public Library is excited to announce free Ukulele Classes Thursdays from 6:00pm - 7:00pm, Jan 18th - March 8th taught by Sam ‘Ālika Bader. All skill levels are encouraged to attend these beginner lessons. Be sure to bring your ukulele.

Then stick around afterward for an open jam session. Everyone is invited. Bring music you're working on, something you're having trouble with, play a solo or a duet for the group, play along with your fellow ukers. All skill levels welcome!

We'll meet in the Story Time Room.

Tropical Plants in Barbados & Costa Rica with Master Gardener, Don Brill – Don Brill will make a comparison of two trips: Costa Rico which still has native plants and animals and Barbados where sugar became king and tropical plants replaced natives.  You will see great gardens created by garden lovers, exotic plants including house plants on steroids growing outdoors. We will see Costa Rico’s native habitats and more.
