Join us for an Artful Moments Memory Café and our Fifth Anniversary. How does gazing at painting make you feel? Do you wonder if the art piece has a message to share? We will view art pieces and create artful moment. We might possibly create a masterpiece of our own. Plus, we will celebrate our fifth anniversary.

Memory Cafés are for those experiencing early stage dementia, mild memory loss or cognitive impairment, and for family and friends of those affected. It’s a great opportunity for lively discussions, information gathering, refreshments, camaraderie, and lots of creative fun thrown in! We have a gerontology professional on hand to answer questions and an enormous wealth of experience among participants to be shared. We’d be delighted if you would join us!

This program was made possible by the Friends of the Neenah Library and the Neenah Public Library Trust Fund. Donations to the Friends and the Trust Fund are always accepted and appreciated.

This Suburban Homesteading Program will help provide you information on how to select the right tree for your yard and how to properly plant the tree once selected.  Tree care will also be covered.

There will be a free tree give-away in conjunction with this session.  The Sustainable Neenah Committee has committed funds to provide several dozen trees for Neenah residents.  The focus will be on cherry trees (as well as other fruit and nut trees) to help create a sustainable food source in one’s own yard.  As attendees arrive, each household will receive a ticket  for a chance to win a free tree.  A drawing will be held at the end of the session.  Trees will be provided at a later date and available for pickup at a single location in Neenah.  Must be present to win.

Presentation by Kimberly Miller - Horticulture Educator - Winnebago County UW Extension.
