Susan Garcia Franz, a parent of a child with dyslexia, will present some of the basics about dyslexia and share her experience and journey as a parent of a dyslexic child.

Susan is a member of Decoding Dyslexia - Wisconsin and the Winnebago County Chapter of Decoding Dyslexia - Wisconsin. Decoding Dyslexia has chapters in 50 states, 4 Canadian Provinces and is growing internationally. Decoding Dyslexia - Wisconsin is working to raise awareness, empower families to support their children, and inform legislators about best practices to identify, educate, and support students struggling with reading in Wisconsin. Decoding Dyslexia – Wisconsin is diverse group that includes parents, researchers, educators, pediatricians, speech pathologists, and legislators.

Come for support, to share experiences, learn about available resources. Free presentation; open to all, registration not required.

Wear your Halloween costume and enter into a prize drawing!!!

They’re back! Just in time for Halloween, join Craig Nehring and the Fox Valley Ghost Hunters Wednesday, October 31st, at 7:00pm at the Neenah Public Library. Craig and his team of ghost hunters always put on an entertaining show as they share their experiences hunting the paranormal around the Fox Valley. Learn about the special instruments the ghost hunters use, hear audio evidence, and more. No registration is necessary.

Thursday, November 1

Drop in for a friendly game of chess every Thursday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to attend. Even if you have never played, but are interested in learning, stop by and we will teach you. No registration or chess boards required. Chess is played on the library's second floor.

Bring music you're working on, something you're having trouble with, play a solo or a duet for the group, play along with your fellow ukers. All skill levels welcome!

Ukers will meet in the first floor Story Time Room.

Friends of the Neenah Public Library First Friday Concert Series

Join us for an amazing performance from the exceptionally talented vocal jazz and guitar duo, Erin Krebs and Jeff Johnston.

Performing original songs and classic favorites, this is a concert you will not want to miss.

Erin and Jeff received the 2018 Wisconsin Area Music Industry Award for Jazz Artist of the Year!

The hour-long concert begins at 2:00 PM in the Shattuck Community Room. Performances are free and open to the public. The concert series is sponsored by The Friends of the Neenah Public Library.

Sunday, November 4

In partnership with Lawrence University, the Neenah Public Library is excited to announce, “Giants of Jazz.” Each of the four performances will highlight a different jazz legend and will begin with a brief lecture; offering a historical context and a lesson on jazz appreciation. Then Lawrence students will perform selected works by the featured artist. Join us for our session on Charles Mingus, Sunday November 4th at 2:00pm in the library’s Shattuck Room.
