The Game of Life! A Tween/Teen Budgeting Event

The game of LIFE isn't always what it's cracked up to be!

Tweens/Teens- Jump into the game! A pre-made scenario of part of your life will be provided to you when you attend.

Here are two examples:

1. You own a mansion on a lake and a red sports car but you have a very low credit score, can you continue through LIFE or will you be caught in debt?

2. Your family has 6 kids and a vacation to plan. But you really want to buy a Motorcycle. Can you afford it? Spin the wheel and see where LIFE takes you!

Veterans Suicide Prevention-S.A.V.E. Training: Four Ways You Can Help a Veteran in Crisis

Gatekeeper trainings, such as S.A.V.E., are a best practice in suicide prevention. The goals of this training are to teach individuals how to recognize warning signs for suicide, and reach out to Veterans who may be in distress. Our hope is that this experience will help you to be more “suicide aware” and able to serve Veterans in the community.

Presentation by Abbey Bernier, Suicide Prevention Coordinator, Department of Veterans Affairs.
