S.A. Cook and Armory

Many of us still remember the old Neenah Armory that was located on the corner of N. Commercial and Nicolet Blvd, but what’s the story behind it? Join the Neenah Historical Society and Menasha Historical Society for another installment of “hidden history” when we look at the history behind the Armory. This interesting presentation by Tom Van Lieshout will cover the story of Civil War veteran, Neenah mayor, and U.S. Representative to Congress, S.A. Cook, and the Armory that was named for him. We will also cover the Armory Shops.

The program will be available through YouTube:
