The Doty Island Tennis Club: Hidden History of Doty Island

Continuing our attention on the Hidden History of Doty Island, join the Neenah Historical Society for a presentation by Jeff Heimerman and Tom VanLieshout on the Doty Island Tennis Club. Its history dates back to the 1920s and includes famous tennis star names like Pancho Gonzales and Bobby Riggs. This year, 2020, marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guaranteeing women the right to vote. Please join the Neenah Historical Society for a special presentation by the Winnebago County League of Women Voters and learn the local stories behind this long lasting and useful organization.

The Great NPL Bake Off: Signature Edition

"On your mark, get set, BAKE!"

Are you famous among your friends and family for a special baked good? Wondering how your signature bake stacks up against the competition? Then be sure to participate in the first ever Great NPL Bake Off! No registration necessary. Bakers simply need to bring in their best tried-and-tested baked good by 1:30pm on Sunday, May 3rd to enter the competition. Patrons that are interested in trying out the baked goods and giving support to the competitors are invited to attend at 2:00pm. Awards will be given out by judges.
