Earth Day Celebration: Get a Charge Out of Chemistry!

American Chemical Society celebrates Earth Day at the library!  This year's theme is: Get a Charge out of Chemistry! They will present an informative and interactive program all about batteries: How do batteries work? How do batteries impact our lives?
Explore making batteries by using different materials, along with other fun demos and activities.  This drop-in, hands-on family program is designed for school-aged children (ages 5-13), but all are welcome.

Stuffed Animal Clinic (ages 3+)

Where do stuffed animals go when they need a check-up?  The library of course!

Bring a stuffed animal from home to the library for their annual well-animal "check-up" performed by trained professionals.  Visits will include height and weight measurements, pretend shots, blood pressure tests, Band-Aids, and more.  (no real mending will be done)

This program is drop-in, no sign up is needed. The program aims to help kids learn about the importance of kindness and not to fear doctor's visits.

The New Art of Coffee

Join us for a night with author, liquid storyteller, and entrepreneur Ryan Castelaz!
