Wild Animal Stories of Yellowstone with local adventurer and storyteller, Don Lorenz

Join Don Lorenz, adventurer and storyteller, as he tells tales and vivid stories of wild animals taken from his journeys and personal experiences at Yellowstone National Park.

The Adult Afternoon Program series is sponsored by the Friends of the Neenah Public Library and are free and open to the public.

Join us for conversation, refreshments, and of course, knitting! 

The first & third Wednesdays of each month (unless otherwise noted) at 6:30pm in the 2nd floor Carpenter Room.


Bring your latest project or one that you are struggling to complete. Learn about charity knitting projects. 

For new knitters, experienced knitters, crocheters and other needle crafters - all ages are welcome!

Thursday, December 5

Drop in for a friendly game of chess every Thursday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to attend. Even if you have never played, but are interested in learning, stop by and we will teach you. No registration or chess boards required. Chess is played on the library's second floor.

Bring music you're working on, something you're having trouble with, play a solo or a duet for the group, play along with your fellow ukers. All skill levels welcome!

Ukers will meet in the first floor Story Time Room.

Planning Your Trip to Door County, Wisconsin

Have you visited Door County, Wisconsin, also known as the Cape Cod of the Midwest?  Need a vacation that is close enough to drive but far enough to feel relaxed?  Door County is the perfect getaway.  Join this one hour seminar for helpful tips to planning your trip to this gem in the Upper Midwest.

Balance & Strength with an instructor from Absolute Wellness.

Getting bendy with books! Please join us Friday mornings for Bookworm Yoga.  Breathe, bend and read together with seasonal themed stories, rhymes and songs. Children will develop pre-literacy skills with simple poses and mindfulness exercises. Bring a beach towel or mat and join us. All ages welcome.

**Siblings are always welcome!

Handbells with Lori Thiel

Ring in the season with a handbell performance and interactive workshop with Lori Thiel. Learn about technique and have the opportunity to play seasonal songs.


Join us at the library for afternoon concerts from a variety of unique and talented artists!

The First Friday Concert Series is on the first Friday of the month, October to May. The hour-long concerts begin at 2:00 PM in the Shattuck Community Room, performances are free and open to the public.

The concert series is sponsored by The Friends of the Neenah Public Library.

Sunday, December 8

Are you interested in learning how to play Dungeons and Dragons? Join us every Sunday at 1:00pm in the second floor Aylward Room at the Neenah Public Library. This friendly Dungeons and Dragons group is always looking for few more adventurers. This is a great introduction for newbies, or people simple looking for a gaming group. No registration is required for this free event.

This is group is for adults 18 and older.
