Looking for an activity for your school-ager during spring break? Drop in at the Neenah Public Library between 12pm and 2pm for Open Art Space.

You will be able to independently explore and create using a variety of different materials with an emphasis on wood crafts. Use our examples as a guide or create something from your imagination. Projects are self directed.

It is recommended that early school-agers bring an adult as some assistance may be required.

Join us in the Yaz Room for an hour of yarn and camraderie.

 

Bring your own project and tools. We supply the company, moral support, and technical support in knitting and crocheting.

This is an open crafting group. Adult and teenage crafters welcome.

Thursday, April 4

Looking for an activity for your school-ager during spring break? Drop in at the Neenah Public Library between 12pm and 2pm for Open Art Space.

You will be able to independently explore and create using a variety of different materials with an emphasis on paper crafts. Use our examples as a guide or create something from your imagination. Projects are self directed.

It is recommended that early school-agers bring an adult as some assistance may be required.

 

All ages and skill levels are welcome! Chess sets will be provided. Coaching and beginner help is available. No registration is necessary. The event takes place on the library's second floor and lasts from 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm.

Bring music you're working on, something you're having trouble with, play a solo or a duet for the group, play along with your fellow ukers. All skill levels are welcome!

We'll meet in the first floor Storytime room and jam sessions last up to 90 minutes.

Free, open to all, and no registration necessary.

Sunday, April 7

The Neenah Public Library is excited to have the University of Lawrence Student Quintet back for a series of spring jazz concerts. Join us at 2:00 pm every Sunday in April as we celebrate Jazz Month. This year the students will be focusing on the groundbreaking work of Charles Mingus (April 7th), Ornette Coleman (April 14th), Kenny Garrett (April 21st), and Jaimie Branch (April 28th). These are all-ages show.

No reservation necessary. Concerts take place in the Shattuck Room.
