Welcome to Medicare is an introductory presentation for anyone becoming eligible for Medicare to familiarize themselves with the various parts of Medicare and understand the choices available.

Presented by the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Winnebago  County Elder Benefit Specialists

All presentations are held in the Neenah Public Library’s first floor Shattuck  Community room.

Volunteers with AARP will be at the library Thursdays from 12:15-4:00 to help low- to moderate- income taxpayers and seniors prepare their tax returns.

Appointments required. Call 920-215-1040 to schedule an appointment between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Appointment hotline opens mid-January.

 

Back by very popular demand, the Neenah Public Library is excited to announce free Ukulele Classes Thursdays from 6:00pm - 7:00pm, Jan 18th - March 8th taught by Sam ‘Ālika Bader. All skill levels are encouraged to attend these beginner lessons. Be sure to bring your ukulele.

Then stick around afterward for an open jam session. Everyone is invited. Bring music you're working on, something you're having trouble with, play a solo or a duet for the group, play along with your fellow ukers. All skill levels welcome!

We'll meet in the Story Time Room.

Balance & Strength with an instructor from Absolute Wellness.

Join us for a wonderful afternoon concert featuring the beautiful sounds of Gaelic harpist, Jeff Pockat. He will perform traditional music on an ancient wire strung Celtic harp. Jeff Pockat is a musician and composer who we are thrilled to include in our concert series each year. 

The performance will begin at 2 P.M. in the Shattuck Community Room, refreshments will be served and this free event is open to all interested individuals. If accommodations are needed to attend, please contact the library before the event.

Russell Horton, Archivist at the Wisconsin Veterans Museum, will describe records and methods to help you find out more about the veteran in your family tree. Focus is on Wisconsin veterans from the Civil War to the present.
