Join author Mathew Janzen as he discusses his new book “State of Craft Beer” Wednesday, April 18th at 7:00pm at the Neenah Public Library. Learn about the growing craft beer industry and the men and women behind Wisconsin’s beer renascence. Mathew’s beautiful, leather bound book “State of Craft Beer” is available for checkout at the Neenah Public Library. Find a copy in our catalog.

AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY
As a copywriter at a Milwaukee-based advertising agency, Matthew Janzen wrote ads for
clients of all sizes and tax codes — but his passion was beer. So he quit his job, grabbed
a camera, and hit the road to learn more about craft beer than he could gather from
newspapers and liquor stores alone. Two years later, he published a book about
breweries and the industries that supply them. Now, Matt’s on the road again; spreading
the word about what he discovered, and continuing his mission to drink good beer made
by people who give a damn about their communities.

BOOK OVERVIEW
State of Craft Beer is a unique journey through the beer-making process, following raw
products as they make their way from fields and factories, through breweries, and into
our glass. The pages — filled with photos, stories, and slices of everyday life — weave a
tale of passionate, hard-working people who care about the communities they live in.
