THE ART OF RACING IN THE RAIN (PG, 109 minutes )

Jim will share selections from his memoir, Snapshots from Third Field, which recounts stories of his service as an Army Medic in Vietnam in 1968. A limited number of copies will be available for purchase. Refreshments served.

We will be discussing "Harry Belten And The Mendelssohn Violin Concerto" by Barry Targan. Like a cross between a traditional book club and a late night talk show, Short Story Night includes trivia, commentary, discussion, author interviews and more. 2nd Tuesday of the month, October to April at 1:30 PM in the Aylward Room on the 2nd floor of the library.

All interested individuals are welcome to attend, registration is not required.

Tuesday, November 12, 2019: Technology and Your Family Tree: A Modern Way to Trace Your Family History

Free legal assistance is available to individuals who need help with simple legal questions, assistance with forms, or referrals to attorneys who offer reduced-cost and /or unbundled services.  Volunteer lawyers and pre-law students from UW-Oshkosh will be available to offer help in the following case types: family law, small claims, domestic abuse/harassment injunctions, probate/wills or guardianships, and property disputes.

Join Ken Gellerstedt, Financial Advisor at Edward Jones in the 2nd floor Aylward Room for an informal discussion of general financial information and commentary on investments and markets. 

Thursday, November 14

Bring music you're working on, something you're having trouble with, play a solo or a duet for the group, play along with your fellow ukers. All skill levels welcome!

Ukers will meet in the first floor Story Time Room.

Drop in for a friendly game of chess every Thursday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to attend. Even if you have never played, but are interested in learning, stop by and we will teach you. No registration or chess boards required. Chess is played on the library's second floor.

Join Sarah Crawford (Sitawi Life Coaching, LLC) & Mike Shereck (Transformational Leadership Experience) for a special program “Living an Authentic Life,” Thursday, November 14th at 6:30pm at the Neenah Public Library. Authenticity is the beginning of trust and removes barriers to communication.  It opens pathways for curiosity, vulnerability and ultimately courage. Getting bendy with books! Please join us Friday mornings for Bookworm Yoga.  Breathe, bend and read together with seasonal themed stories, rhymes and songs. Children will develop pre-literacy skills with simple poses and mindfulness exercises. Bring a beach towel or mat and join us. All ages welcome.

**Siblings are always welcome!

Are you interested in learning how to play Dungeons and Dragons? Join us every Sunday at 1:00pm in the second floor Aylward Room at the Neenah Public Library. This friendly Dungeons and Dragons group is always looking for few more adventurers. This is a great introduction for newbies, or people simple looking for a gaming group. No registration is required for this free event.

This is group is for adults 18 and older.

You never know who is going to show up, but rest assured, it will be good!"

Join us at the library for afternoon concerts from a variety of unique and talented artists! The hour-long concerts begin at 2:00 PM, October to May, in the Shattuck Community Room. Performances are free and open to the public, the concert series is sponsored by The Friends of the Neenah Public Library.
