Saturday, December 14

Who knew that dogs love stories too?  Durning Neenah Public Library’s Pooches & Pages, children in first through sixth grade can come read to a dog between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m.  No registration required.

Pooches & Pages is held on the second Saturday of every month.  It is a reading program designed to build reading confidence and self-esteem, help a child maintain focus for a longer period of time, and increase the motivation to read.  Dogs are carefully selected to ensure a safe and fun experience, and the owner/handlers are library volunteers who love helping children become enthusiastic readers.  The dogs are gentle, calm and polite and listen patiently and without judgment as a child reads aloud.

Start a new tradition and bring your family together to enjoy favorite songs of the season! Timeless classics like Frosty, Rudolph, and Jingle Bells are sure to ring in the holiday spirit! We'll even throw in some hot chocolate to warm up those vocal chords! It's caroling without the cold! Then make a wintery craft in the storytime room!

All ages are welcome!

Sunday, December 15

What can you build in one hour?  Come to the Neenah Public Library on the first and third Sundays of the month and build something never seen before, during LEGOs @ the Library.  The program is for kids age 5 and up; children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.  LEGOs provided.  We’ll display your creation in the children’s display case!
