Monday, June 21

Read a selected book and then share your thoughts and feelings with each other through good old-fashioned mail!  Register and pick up a copy of the book and "pen pal envelope" at the Youth Desk.  Meet at Shattuck Park to discuss book, snack, and exchange pen pal envelopes once a month.  Monday, June 21, 10:00-11:00 a.m. is our meeting date to discuss One Time by Sharon Creech.

All ages welcome! Join us as we explore art and play with nature. We'll share activities to do while you're here and you'll leave with your own nature activity pack for your next nature adventure!

Join Neenah's very own dance studio Boogie Ballroom for a free Hip Hop dance lesson. Each session takes place in Shattuck Park. No registration necessary. All skill levels and ages are encouraged to attend.

Wednesday, June 23

Join Miss Katrina and Miss LoriAnn each week for this all-ages musical storytime experience.  Together we will practice and learn important skills, such as language development, spatial skills and motor skills.  This program also gives kids a chance to practice self-control and help them gain awareness of their own bodies and others’ in addition to learning some fun music vocabulary!

WeeRead is cancelled because of the severe weather forecasted.

Join Miss Hannah and Miss Jodi as we get back into the swing of storytime. Share stories, simple rhymes, and movement activities at this outdoor storytime for the whole family!

Join us for an all ages, all skill levels, evening of virtual chess each Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Play against other area residents from the comfort of your home.

Instructions:

1) Sign up for a free lichess.org account.

2) Hold your cursor over the "Community" tab. Then select "Teams."

3) Search for "Neenah Public Library."

4) Request to join the team. A team administrator will approve your request to join.

Friday, June 25

Kids Yoga and the Bibliocycle at Fritse Park is cancelled for today. We will see you all next Friday!

Getting bendy with books! Please join us for Kids Yoga at Fritse Park (899 N. Lake St.). Breathe, bend and read together with stories, rhymes and songs. Children will develop pre-literacy skills with simple poses and mindfulness exercises.

Bring a beach towel or mat and join us for this open air event. Free, open to the public, and all ages welcome.
