Monday, November 8

FREE GUY  (PG-13, 115 minutes )

Starring Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, Taika Waititi, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery and Utkarsh Ambudkar

A bank teller discovers that he's actually an NPC (Non-Player Character) inside a brutal, open world video game.

 

All movies are shown in the Shattuck Community Room on the 1st Floor.

NOTE: OCCUPANCY MAY BE LIMITED AND MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO BE WORN PROPERLY WHILE ATTENDING LIBRARY PROGRAMS.

Tuesday, November 9

Getting bendy with books! Please join us for Kids Yoga at Shattuck Park (210 E. Wisconsin Ave). Breathe, bend and read together with stories, rhymes and songs. Children will develop pre-literacy skills with simple poses and mindfulness exercises.

Bring a beach towel or mat and join us for this open air event. Free, open to the public, and all ages welcome.

Wednesday, November 10

Join Miss Katrina and Miss LoriAnn each week for this all-ages musical storytime experience.  Together we will practice and learn important skills, such as language development, spatial skills and motor skills.  This program also gives kids a chance to practice self-control and help them gain awareness of their own bodies and others’ in addition to learning some fun music vocabulary!

ALL PROGRAMS WILL BE HELD OUTSIDE AT SHATTUCK PARK.  Programs are weather dependent.  If needed, programs will be cancelled no later than 2 hours before the program start time and will be announced on our website and Facebook.  Please follow mask and social distancing recommendations.

 

Thursday, November 11

Join Miss Hannah and Miss Jodi as we continue to enjoy outdoor storytime this fall season. Share stories, simple rhymes and movement activities for the whole family!

All ages and skill levels are welcome! Chess sets will be provided. Coaching and beginner help is available.

All patrons are required to wear a mask while playing.
