JUMANJI: WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE  (PG-13, 119 minutes )

Starring Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Kevin Hart, Jack Black

Four teenagers are sucked into a magical video game, and the only way they can escape is to work together to finish the game.

Drop in for a friendly game of chess the first Tuesday of each month at the Neenah Public Library. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to attend. Even if you have never played, but are interested in learning, stop by and we will teach you.

Everyone is welcome. If accommodations are needed to attend, please contact the library administrative office at 920-886-6301 or by email at library@neenahlibrary.org at least 24 hours in advance of the program.

Thursday, April 5

The Girlfriends Read Book Club at the Neenah Public Library will meet on Thursday, April 5 at 4:00 p.m.  Girlfriends Read features books with strong girl characters, written for ages nine and up but with broad appeal. Meetings include lively discussion, book-related activities, and snacks. Participants are welcome to attend solo or with a friend or family member.

Join us in reading Gertie's Leap to Greatness by Kate Beasley.  Gertie is on a mission to be the best at all she does in the fifth grade: deliver the most amazing speech, be the smartest student, be the most helpful student, and perform most dramatically as the lead in the school play.  Maybe her mother will see all of Gertie's greatness as her reason to come back to Gertie; maybe she won't move away from Gertie's hometown.

Stop at the Neenah Library youth desk, call for more information at 920-886-6335, or email us at youthdesk@neenahlibrary.org.  Register early – space is limited, as are the number of books available for loan.

Back by very popular demand, the Neenah Public Library is excited to announce free Ukulele Classes Thursdays from 6:00pm - 7:00pm, March 29-May 17 taught by Sam ‘Ālika Bader. All skill levels are encouraged to attend these beginner lessons. Be sure to bring your ukulele.

We'll meet in the Story Time Room.

Bring music you're working on, something you're having trouble with, play a solo or a duet for the group, play along with your fellow ukers. All skill levels welcome!

Ukers will meet in the first floor Story Time Room.
