Come be a part of NPL's first ever filmmaking club for teens! Join us as we endeavor to write, produce, and screen an original short film. Registration is required so please call the youth desk at 920-886-6335 to sign up! The first session will focus on conceptualization and writing the script. It will run weekly Tuesdays @ 4pm from October 9-30!

Wednesday, October 24

 

Unleash your creativity with DIY Design Workshops at the library! Each workshop will feature a different project and all supplies will be provided. This is a free event and open to interested individuals. No registration necessary. 

Create an original painting at the October workshop by pouring acrylic paints on a canvas and letting the swirls marble together, creating an entirely unique design! This technique is fun, messy and surprisingly, very relaxing! 

 

 

Thursday, October 25

Bring music you're working on, something you're having trouble with, play a solo or a duet for the group, play along with your fellow ukers. All skill levels welcome!

Ukers will meet in the first floor Story Time Room.

Drop in for a friendly game of chess every Thursday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to attend. Even if you have never played, but are interested in learning, stop by and we will teach you. No registration or chess boards required. Chess is played on the library's second floor.

Saturday, October 27

The Girlfriends Read Book Club at the Neenah Public Library will meet on Saturday, October 27 at 10:30 a.m.  Girlfriends Read features books with strong girl characters, written for ages nine and up but with broad appeal. Meetings include lively discussion, book-related activities, and snacks. Participants are welcome to attend solo or with a friend or family member.
