Kids ages 18 and under can pick up a free lunch at the library and enjoy it while listening to engaging books read aloud by your favorite librarians.


 

Do you have a question about your smartphone? Meet the experts from Neenah's Cricket Wireless at the Neenah Public Library Monday, June 24th from 3:00pm until 4:00pm. Cricket team members will be available in the second floor Aylward Room to help you troubleshoot your smartphone. Staff will be available to help with both Android and iPhones. No registration necessary for this free workshop.

The Girlfriends Read Book Group at the Neenah Public Library will meet on Wednesday, June 26 at 12:30.  Girlfriends Read features books with strong girl characters, written for ages nine and up but with broad appeal. Meetings include lively discussion, book-related activities, and snacks. Participants are welcome to attend solo or with a friend or family member. 

Please join us in reading From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler.

TWEEN SCENE

Ages 10-14 years old

Stop by for a different activity each week! This week's theme is marshmallows. Come play marshmallow games and bring home a sweet treat.

We will meet in the Shattuck Room. Call 886-6335 for details.

The Spektral Quartet was named Chicagoans of the year in 2017 and nominated for a Grammy.  They talk about their instruments in an accessible way, talk about how music tells a story and let child touch and play their instruments. The Spektral Quartet is sponsored by the Green Lake Festival of Music, who wants to introduce grandparents, parents, and children to the wonderful world of music with free concerts.

Drop in for a friendly game of chess every Thursday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to attend. Even if you have never played, but are interested in learning, stop by and we will teach you. No registration or chess boards required. Chess is played on the library's second floor.

Bring music you're working on, something you're having trouble with, play a solo or a duet for the group, play along with your fellow ukers. All skill levels welcome!

Ukers will meet in the first floor Story Time Room.

Friday, June 28

Rejuvenate with 60 minutes of yoga with a 2nd floor water view with yoga instructor Sarah Broda at 6:45 a.m. The library is not open at this time, and we will have someone posted at the doors starting at 6:35 until 6:55  a.m.

Please bring a yoga mat or towel with you.

Getting bendy with books! Please join us Friday mornings for Bookworm Yoga.  Breathe, bend and read together with seasonal themed stories, rhymes and songs. Children will develop pre-literacy skills with simple poses and mindfulness exercises. Bring a beach towel or mat and join us. All ages welcome.
