An animated adventure in which the free-spirited UglyDolls confront what it means to be different, struggle with a desire to be loved, and ultimately discover who you truly are is what matters most.

Wednesday, August 7

The Girlfriends Read Book Group at the Neenah Public Library will meet on Wednesday, August 7 at 12:30.  Girlfriends Read features books with strong girl characters, written for ages nine and up but with broad appeal. Meetings include lively discussion, book-related activities, and snacks. Participants are welcome to attend solo or with a friend or family member. 

Please join us in reading The Adventures of a Girl Called Bicycle.

Thursday, August 8

Drop in for a friendly game of chess every Thursday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to attend. Even if you have never played, but are interested in learning, stop by and we will teach you. No registration or chess boards required. Chess is played on the library's second floor.

Bring music you're working on, something you're having trouble with, play a solo or a duet for the group, play along with your fellow ukers. All skill levels welcome!

Ukers will meet in the first floor Story Time Room.

Getting bendy with books! Please join us Friday mornings for Bookworm Yoga.  Breathe, bend and read together with seasonal themed stories, rhymes and songs. Children will develop pre-literacy skills with simple poses and mindfulness exercises. Bring a beach towel or mat and join us. All ages welcome.

**Siblings are always welcome!
