Talk and Touch playtime is an informal playtime for babies and toddlers (3 months to 18 months) and their caregivers. This is a special time reserved just for our littlest library users (3 months to 18 months only) to explore, without the exuberance of older children. Multiples stations featuring different sensory activities will be set up in the Shattuck Community Room for children to explore. This playtime is for babies and their caregivers to learn, share, and connect while exploring texture, contrast, books and more!

Repeats on the 3rd Monday of each month.

All programs are sensory friendly.  Everyone is welcome and celebrated.  There is no right way to join in!  For specific information about any program, call (920) 886-6335, or email youthdesk@neenahlibrary.org.

Book Birdies is our new nature storytime for children ages 3-5.  Each Monday morning we’ll gather to read nature-related storybooks and nonfiction books, sing songs, move, dance, and play games all the while encouraging an appreciation for our natural world.   Look up-close and learn about the mystery item in the Nature Box and bring home a Bird Word card each week.   Children will attend this storytime with their grownup.

WeeRead is a multi-aged story time for children and their caregivers.  We will share songs & stories, learn rhymes - both old and new, and shake our sillies out with lively music.  Each story time will end with a puppet show and a rhyme to take home. This story time lasts 25-30 minutes.  We recognize that story time is a learned experience and that 30 minutes may be a bit too long for our littlest friends.  Please come for whatever amount of time works for you and your child.  You are welcome to slip out and come back either in a few minutes or another time. We are prepared to keep things flexible so that kids of every age will have a fun story time experience!
