Join children’s book author Stepheni Curran for a special book signing and rock painting event at the Neenah Public Library Saturday, March 10th at 10:00 am.  Stepheni will be reading from her new book “Rock On, Kindness! Be sure to stay after the reading for a special rock painting session. Paint, brushes, and rocks will be provided. No reservation necessary. Copies of “Rock On, Kindness! Pass It On!” will be available for purchase at the event.

Who knew that dogs love stories too? Sign up for Neenah Public Library’s Pooches & Pages: Kids Reading to Therapy Dogs. Children in first through sixth grade may sign up for a fifteen-minute reading appointment between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m.

Pooches & Pages is held on the second Saturday of every month. It is a reading program designed to build reading confidence and self-esteem, help a child maintain focus for a longer period of time, and increase the motivation to read. Dogs are carefully selected to ensure a safe and fun experience, and the owner/handlers are library volunteers who love helping children become enthusiastic readers. The dogs are gentle, calm and polite and listen patiently and without judgment as a child reads aloud.
