It will run weekly Tuesdays @ 4pm from October 9-30!

Drop in for a friendly game of chess every Thursday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. All ages and skill levels are encouraged to attend. Even if you have never played, but are interested in learning, stop by and we will teach you. No registration or chess boards required. Chess is played on the library's second floor.

Musician and native Hawaiian, Sam ‘Ālika Bader will be teaching a four-week ukulele class from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Library’s Storytime Room. Bring your own ukulele or reserve one of the Library’s ukuleles. An extra loaner ukulele is also available for use during classes.

A ukulele open jam follows each Thursday night class. Open to anyone interested in playing with other ukulele players. Bring your own ukulele – banjoleles and guitars welcome, too (and whatever else you’d like to play). Music provided – or bring a piece you’d like to share with others. The open jams are held from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Bring music you're working on, something you're having trouble with, play a solo or a duet for the group, play along with your fellow ukers. All skill levels welcome!
