2018 Fox Cities Book FestivalThe Fox Cities Book Festival is excited to welcome back author and Neenah native, Susan Amond Todd.

Since 1985, Susan Amond Todd, a native of Neenah, made many trips from Charlotte, NC down I-95 to Jacksonville, FL. Toward the end of the 90’s she noticed a bridge off in the distance after the Brunswick, GA exit she hadn’t seen before. The bridge looked impressive, becoming a landmark she watched for whenever they made the trip to visit her in-laws. She wondered what it was connecting, thinking one of these trips she would stop to find out but never seemed to have the time to do so. Little did she know that one day, not only would she find out where the bridge went, but also fall in love with the area it connected so much she would be inspired to incorporate it into her writing of her first book, White Lake and the sequel, Return Home. In her program St. Simons and Jekyll Islands: Where the Bridge Leads she’ll share the sights and places her characters frequented along with history of the area. When she’s done, you too, will want to plan a trip to these Islands.
