The 11th Annual Fox Cities Book Festival presents an event with author, Laura Jean Baker.

An affidavit is “a sworn statement of fact voluntarily made by an affiant under oath.” To this end, our life stories, written and/or spoken, are affidavits culled from everyday experience. In writing memoir, we witness and record what happens to us. Writing memoir is the art of blending past selves with the present self to create meaning. Please join Laura Jean Baker, author of The Motherhood Affidavits, to learn how her braided memoir might serve as a template for your own life story.

The Fox Cities Book Festival connects writers and readers. One week, over 50 authors, 60 events at 15 venues throughout the Fox Cities! Please visit the Festival online for a full schedule and details about each author and event. All events are free and open to the public, please join us for a fantastic week!
