Fox Cities Book Festival: Never Curse the Rain

The 10th Annual Fox Cities Book Festival presents an event with author,Jerry Apps as he, "shares his memories of water, from its importance to crops and cattle to its many recreational uses — fishing trips, canoe journeys , and the simple pleasures of an afternoon spent dreaming in the haymow as the rain patters on a barn roof."

This Fox Cities Book Festival event is free and open to all interested individuals. The presentation will take place in the first floor Shattuck Community Room at the Neenah Public Library, please join us for a wonderful event! 

About the Author
"Jerry Apps, born and raised on a Wisconsin farm, is Professor Emeritus at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the author of seven novels and more than 35 nonfiction books. His most recent nonfiction books are: Whispers and Shadows, Wisconsin Agriculture: A History, Never Curse the Rain and Old Farm Country Cookbook. Recent novels include The Great Sand Fracas of Ames County, and the soon to be published Cold as Thunder. Jerry is a former publications editor for UW­ Extension, and an acquisitions editor for the McGraw-Hill Book Company. Jerry has also done four hour-long documentaries for Public TV."
